Guaranteed Issue
Guaranteed Issue Health Insurance provides coverage to patients who may be ineligible for other types of health plans. If you have a pre-existing condition such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or AIDS, a Guaranteed Issue Health Policy may be the best option available for you.
With guaranteed issue policies, there can be an initial waiting period of up to a year before pre-existing conditions are covered and the policies may require that you are employed, although some policies do not insist upon this qualification. A guaranteed issue plan will cover almost all medical care such as physician visits, hospital care, and inpatient and outpatient care. Guaranteed issue policies are renewable.
